The employer, in my case, got the Ministry of Higher Education clearance in 10 days. That too around Eid holiday period. You can say, it depends mostly on your employer's efficiency /contacts within the concerned Ministry.... Further, Visa processing (including Visa deposition at Muscat Airport) in my case took another 10 days. They actually had 5 candidates in that lot. I donno about other industries.
