Is there any place in Zamalek that one can buy fresh fish at a decent price?

To be honest, there is no fresh fish in Zamalik, you have to cross the Nile by the bridge and buy it from a place call kitkat fresh market next to Simsim shop. . just 10 minutes walking from Zamalik.
Otherwise, you can go to fish-market in Zamalik at Nile CIty (cruise-ship), really expensive, but so tasty

From which side should I cross the Nile? Giza or Cairo? I don't know SimSim. Or can you please give more info.

Cross the Nile from Zamalik (Cairo to Giza) Kitkat Square, then you will pass behind the library on your right hand, then you will find National Egyptian Bank, then you you find Simsim shop on your right hand. so, you will inter that so tight street, you will find the fresh market. hope it's clear. if not, inbox me.

you may find fresh fish in a shop in 26 july street i think its name is el gomhoria
you will find it after nearly a 100 m from lapoire and makani cafe
