What about beach parties and concerts there? do they often take place?
Is there an Expat community who join together maybe to play volley ball matches sometimes?

not sure but its a very popular with locals as well as tourists

the others i have been to are

Patoma beach a little further along the coast road聽 - very popular for weddings - and would be fab for parties on the beach - and the sunsets there are just amazing

And Latchi (Latsi) beach is very nice too near Polis....
