How much does it cost to live in Macau?

Life in Macau, I started my very first job in Macau when it was only 2006 and now is 2015! I see the development of Macau in quick time.

How much does it cost to live in Macau?

> accommodation prices
2006 two bed room(HKD2800) 2015 three bedroom (HKD16000)
> public transportation fares (tube, bus etc.)
Get a Macau pass ,cheaper and during exchange second bus (within Macau area no cost but to taipa is around 0.50cens?) cost MOP2.00 and to Taipa is MOP2.50...good deal!
> food prices (your monthly budget)
per meal MOP30-100 depends on where you are. If you can spend some time at market it could be good!
> health prices (for those who need medical insurance)
ermm.....! IDK,, company cover for medical, but i get to know that it might cost around MOP100 over if we need to paid
> education prices (if you need to pay)

Barra area for portuguese macaunese food

Alcohol drink around 60-90 and non alcohol is 20-30
> price for cinema tickets
40-250.. lets see how comfort where the location as they have 4-5 cinema if i am not mistake..but usually we go UA cinema Galaxy

I am paying for a 2 bedroom apartment with river view 7.800HKD

Bus fare is in average 2mop to 3.2mop in the Macau peninsula. If you go to the islands it can reach 6mop... using the Macau Card (buy-able in any convenience store) and rechargeable.

> food prices (your monthly budget)
Eating at home is in average more expensive than going out to eat. A regular meal can start at 40mop until 200mop.

> health prices (for those who need medical insurance)
I'm a Macau Permanent Resident I have access to local fees and benefits.

> education prices (if you need to pay)
As a Macau Permanent Resident I have access to local fees and benefits for mandatory schooling. University fees are expensive.

> energy prices (oil, electricity)
About 9,94mop/litre

> common bills (Internet, television, telephone, mobile phone)
Fiber internet - 318mop (CTM)
Television - nevermind cable tv is a joke, use internet streaming
Telephone - 67mop and local land lines are free (CTM)
Mobile - 140mop (full free local + HK + China net) (3C)

Good price-quality ratio
