Try for cost of living  the site covers most things including crime etc, takes a little time to navigate through it all.

where will you be living? - the more "bedu" the area the cheaper ---  sufficient for living? yes, its sufficient - especially if you stay away from restaurants and malls - might be a bit hard to save though, however not impossible

if company is offering family accommodation + medical & ticket,
than 7K is not a bad option,
for a family of 2-3 person normal grocery expense is 2-2.5K/month
so u still have 4.5-5 K for shopping & Saving.

This package will be enough for you to spend a smooth life in Saudi Arabia. How many kids do you have ?

it is a good package, compare with ur current net pay in india
and sar 7000 minus sar 2500.

it is depending on your expence

I am a Saudi and I can tell you SR7000 is enough if you can manage to convince the company to include transportation, not just to and from home to work, but transportation in general. You might spend around SR2000 a month on food including groceries and cooking related stuff.

But obviously, you can do your own research and you can also ask the company to offer you estimate living expenses.

Dear Karthick,

You need to make your decision based on the opportunities available at your feet, Since i am also from subcontinent so let me tell you that based on our general life styles where our wives cook and we don't spend like freaks , this salary is pretty reasonable and you should opt for it.

Accommodation , medical and transport is free so the only expenses as a couple you would have will be for food and day to day marginal expenses. . If you both will eat out everyday one meal a day and cost of each meal reaches to 50( only if you eat from international chains) then your cost will be 1500 SR a month. Day to day expenses will not be more than 50 Sr. If your accommodation is free then i believe that you wouldn't have to pay for electricity as well.

You will be left with ample amount in your pocket each month so i suggest that you shouldn't turn down this offer. Rest when you will come here more door will open for you , if your wife is educated then she can find a job and help you financially if required so .
