That's great!!
We are 5 for now (4 women + 1 man).

Invite who would be interested to get together. It's open. Khmer or foreigner. It might be nice to have some locals too :)

I guess Sala bai can be the restaurant where we will meet :)
But feel free to propose any other place. I guess we will have to make a reservation at latest a week before. So until then nothing decided.

Cheers.

Following as would like to meet long term resident for additional information regarding our installation in Siem Reap which eventually would take place during July/August.
Just need to know if kids admitted as will have my grandson 9 years with me and nobody to baby-sit.
We would be 3 adults by the way

jojo133

Of course you can come with children :) everybody is welcome.

So that means 8 people (6 women + 2 men + 1 child).

See you soon.
AND HAPPY NEW YEAR !!!

Just noticed that the gathering is scheduled on 9th of May. Unfortunately we are leaving on 8th. We really would have liked to meet with some real expats of Siem Reap who could share their experience and advice re living in Siem Reap. Would anyone meetup with us for a drink or lunch between now and the 7th of May? French or English speaking no problem 😊

Great! We will be 14.

Sala Bai is open only for breakfast and lunch.
Cuisine Wat Damnak is fully booked...

Amy recommendation??

I know Genevieve restaurant is good.

Give ideas !!

Sorry to say in my opinion Genienevies is basic and not good for a gathering
As it is crowded
Try L annex in Sok San Road.     French and really good. With space in gardens
Or restaurant

Greetings!

LAVA Restaurant is wonderfully situated close to the river on a 1st-floor balcony. It's part of the 'River Bay Villa' (easier to Google). 2km from the Old Market upriver (towards the temples).

jojo133

Hi all.

Sorry Grant I did not see your message before.

So I made the reservation to MARUM restaurant.

Khmer food, asian, fusion and vegetarian.

Reservation is at 7:30 pm, on the name of ½ûÂþÌìÌÃ.

See you all on saturday :)
