Finding a hotel

Hi all,
my wife and i will be arriving in december and we need to find a hotel to stay in for a couple of weeks until we sort out our permenant accommodation.

can anyone recommend any hotels near king faisal hospital?
...or if anyone knows of an apartment for rent starting in early decemberthat would be cool too 聽 -judging by the prices i've seen so far we're probably wont be in a compound.

-i've seen before that people have said to put this on my employer to organise...but because we don't qualify for married accommodation in the hospital compound and want to live together, we have to organise it all ourselves.

A tip:聽 Be sure your wife keeps whatever housing they give her in the hospital compound, at least on paper.聽 That way, if she is considered a 'resident,' you can use the recreational facilities there.

Oh, and there is a name for people who are officially housed in a company compound but live elsewhere.聽 They're called 'ghosts'

There are plenty of furnished apartments in and around the KFSH, Olaya, Sulaimaniya and the neighborhood. They cost around SR 100 per day for studio types to about SR 250 per day for two bedroomed ones with Kitchen and living, if taken on long lease ranging from 3 months upwards. Ive been scouting around town for some teachers who are due here this week.
