Hi Everyone

We are new to the site and are looking to buy a possible holiday home, this year, which we could later use (ie when we retire in 10 years from formal work) as a B&B or gite type business etc.

I have been a visitor to France over 31 years and consider my french penfriends family I met at 14 as my French family.  They live in Frejus and we are going there again this year.

We would like to know about  any properties up to maximum of €200,000 including fees, cost of living, experiences people have had in moving to France in this way ie part holiday home then a move, experiences good and bad of running a business in France etc

Thank you Alison and Adey Penn

Hi there,
This website seems to have little to offer those of us in the South-West. There's nothing about Aquitaine or Midi-Pyrenées. I am always staggered at how big Dordogne is, let alone the whole South-West.
I have a house in the North-West of Dordogne, near Charente. That's a long way from Fréjus though.
