Open a bank account in HK

tranus

Hi guys,
Sorry in advance if there's already a thread for that. I did search but didn't see it...
I'd like to know the requirements to open a bank account in HK if we don't live there?
Actually I'm a French living in Vietnam.
Thanks in advance for your replies.
Antoine.

If this address is not in HK, do you think it will work out?

Tranus,

I can help you out with my priority account manager at standard chartered bank in central.
Some of my friends living abroad was able to ipen their account.

Heads up, you just need a valid passport, drivers license, statement if account under tour name like utility bills, and fund to open an account.

Hello,
Sorry for my late reply.
When have they opened their accounts? Because before it was much easier...
