lifestyle - I am concerned about diet - Maize product - Food!

I am about to comi in Al ain in few months time and concerned about diet. Maize product are my basic here like rice samp,mealimeal ect. Is pork accepted there? Any banned foods there. What is the staple food. Any african food shops selling african meals with maize products ect. Thanks.
