Which is the best forum for people in the Dordogne/Charente area? I have a house down there. I don't see anything on Expat-Blog but other websites are available I believe. Does anyone have any experience they might share. Thanks.

Since we do not have many expatriates in that area, we do not have a forum specific to Dordogne. Your thread has been moved to the more general Forum France so as everybody connecting to the latter will be able to see your thread.

Please tell us more about yourself, where do you come from? Are you proposing that house in Dordogne for rent or something?

Hi,
no, the house needs work. I am looking to have work done on it. Possibly a group effort. You help with the refurbishment in exchange for board and lodging. And names of good local tradesmen, local knowledge is usually best.
Based on what I see in the Charente Maritime section of this website I am not hopeful of meeting Dordogne denizens here, but you never know... a message in a bottle...
