Hi can anyone recommend a nice inexpensive hotel? I am traveling alone so would like somewhere that is quite friendly and sociable around the D1 area.聽 Thanks

Agoda.com聽 has most hotels here on their site.
It's also linked into TripAdvisor for comments.聽 Everything from 1 to 5 star.
Anything around Bien Thanh market is good because it's central to everything.

Yeah, take a look on agoda,聽 booking...there are many choices which are near Ben Thanh market or in the area of Pham Ngu Lao & Bui Vien str.
