What do you usually do on your weekends in Salta?

Are there any places to visit, any activities, any events or festivals regularly organized you would like to recommend?

What are your top tips for the weekend in Salta?

Hi

The best to do in Salta the weekends is go hiking, mountainbiking or riding horses in the San Lorenzo and Las Costas area just 15 min. by car or around 25 min by bus from the city, Also you can make weekend excursions to the north like purmamarca, tilcara and humahuaca and stay one night there, the best is tilcara to stay as there is some activity at night.

On Sundays in the afternoon you can go walking to the balcarce street there is a market and some coffees open. At night there are many bars in the same street, people usually do not get out till late, after 10 pm or even later. You can also go to discos outside the city but they can be quite dangerous. Marc
