Things to do in Durban during the weekends

Post new topic

Christine

Hi,

What do you usually do on your weekends in Durban?

Are there any places to visit, any activities, any events or festivals regularly organized you would like to recommend?

What are your top tips for the weekend in Durban?

Thank you in advance for sharing your experience, ;)

Hi Christine,

Hope you are doing well. You can start by visiting the Ushaka marine world, where you can if you are brave, dive with the huge sharks. Walk by the beach and even surf and enjoy the waves. Good thing is a few minutes walk from Ushaka, there is a surf club. You will see so many kids early morning at sea which is so inspiring.

Next walk by the beach to visit the Casino & Entertainment World where you can watch Jurassic World or another movie.

If you want some challenging activity, you can try Big Rush jump from Mbasa Stadium which is next to the railway station or 5mins drive from Ushaka.

For shopping you can try Gateway or Pavillion hyper markets. You will spend all your money no doubts so be careful!

For safari you can try the Tala Game reserve, its not very expensive but its far like 1hr 30mins drive  from Ushaka. You can catch the Rhinos, hippos etc live n direct. Its awesome!

There are so much out there! Have a great weekend.

Regards,
Sarvan
