Safety in Nigeria

Post new topic

Christine

Hi,

We would like to talk about a sensitive but important topic: do you feel safe in Nigeria?

How would you define the level of safety in the country?

Can you walk safely during the day and at night without any fear?

Do you think there is a high rate of criminality, social problems or tensions?

Share with us your insight on safety in Nigeria and in the city you live in.

Thank you in advance,

Christine

Safety in Lagos is relatively ok (considering the fact that it is a large city like other major cities in the world). I can vouch for Lekki, Ajah, VI, Ikeja and a bunch of other highbrow areas where we have expat community. We have the SARS, RRS, etc (police crime response squads) who are doing a pretty good job. Expat communities and other elite areas are extra secured
