Indian spices

Post new topic

hi
Can anybody know ,where do we get Indian spices in compinas,Brazil ?

James

Try either the Mercado Central, Rua Alvares Machado (near Rua Ferreira) or the Mercado Municipal, Rua Benjamin Constant in the center of Campinas.

If you can't find what you're looking for in either of those places, maybe you should visit the Maharaja Restaurant located at Avenida Nossa Senhora de Fátima, No. 1811 - Taquaral, Campinas and ask them where they buy their foods and spices.

Hi,
It may be more expensive, but Bombay Spice in SP has an online store- you can check if they would ship to you!

Bombay spice is excellent however a bit pricey!  We usually go to the Sacalao or Direto Do Campo in our areas over there they have a few Naturale Stores and we can find most of the spices there itself, of course we had to learn the correct names in Portuguese with a lot of help from our friends but it works out in a better way for us as the prices are much more reasonable.

If you are living in Barão Geraldo region of Campinas, you can count on Barão Ervas as well. Here is the weblink
