Will Bahraini work permit allow me to go to Dubai?

So I have Bahraini work permit, and I would like to visit Dubai, maybe for a week. I would like to ask what would I need to be able to go to Dubai?

The new procedure for GCC resident/work permit holders is to apply for a e-visit visa

The visa on arrival would not be available i believe, this was enforced from October 1st.
