How's life in Buka, Papua New Guinea

Hi Guys,

I was offered a job in Buka as a warehouse supervisor.

I would like to have some idea's and tips. Can somebody tell me on how's life there?

Hi Kabayan:

I heared about Buka; it is laid back in development but it is a mining industry.聽 Anyway, you will go there to work, then it should be okey.聽 Hence for compensation tax is about 42%.聽 You better negotiate with accommodation, car, utilities and net pay.

Actually my employer will be providing the accomodation, net expense and transportation..

Okey

Negotiate for a net pay because all stuffs here are imported meaning expensive than there in the Philippines.聽 Internet, phone call is very expensive.
