Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help me please? I plan on getting married in Egypt in February. I am from the UK do I need to apply for a residency visa? I literally have no clue what I need to do I am very confused by it all. I know I need to get a certificate to say I have reverted to Islam which isn't a problem for me . But all the other paperwork I need to do is very confusing please help. Thank you :)

it will be very easy if you just take a lawyer , and that will not cost alot , about the workpapers , u have to prove that you are christian or muslim , and it's in your card , your passport and your husband's passport must be available聽 for 6 months , i think your egyptian husband will understand all that .. congratulations dear , hope you the best life

Hi I hope you can help me, I'm due to get married the next time I visit Egypt in December and believed that all I needed was my passport and divorce paper. As I understand it I then go to my appointment at the UK embassy to make the non-impediment declaration before going to the ministry of justice for the 'wedding' meeting and papers. I'm now confused thinking I have to bring something from a registry office here. I am a Christian my partner is Muslim, I have no intention to convert. Thank you.
