Heading for Rincon

Post new topic

Hi, we are both retired and want to get out of the rat race here in Florida.  I have worked and lived all over the world so adjustment wise this will be zero to none.
We both love the beach and it seems Rincon has what we are looking for.

I read all the info on the blog and would like to say “thank you” to everyone for providing such excellent feedback, it is all common sense approach.

Have already booked my flight and will be arriving in Rincon 11Nov15….12 days!

Mac00677, seeing that you are in Rincon, I would like to meet up with you for some more pointers.  How do we go about exchanging private info, cell phone, eaddress, etc in order to contact each other privately?

Extending an early welcome to you! I bet you're going to love Rincon. My daughter and I have been here a few months and love it.! Great vibe, beautiful beaches, easy to navigate, and sweet, sweet people.

Thank for the quick reply and it was nice talking to you.
Aside from the tips you gave me, it was nice to hear that the expats in Rincon
are will to help with advise so I will not make the same mistakes they did.
Very kind and neighborly.

Looking forward to meeting up with you. Not sure what you are paying for a hotel.  If you decide you rather stay at a place that has a kitchen  etc.  I know of one that a coming available .They do weekly and monthly rentals. Not sure of the cost .But I can give you a phone # if you'd like.  It should cost you less then a hotel and its like a 2 min walk from the balernia beach . Let me know you can send me a text or email that I provided you in my private messages
