looking for advice regarding bizarre doubt :)

Hi guys :). Can anyone advise me did any of you had any experience with glass coating called Clearshield? Recently I received an offer to get this protection for my newly purchased windows...
It is fairly expensive but they claim it is very good and I would probably go for it but what bothers me is that recently I read on the internet that in formulation of this liquid stuff called Clearshield, maker (UK company Ritec International Ltd.) is using dangerous and banned chemical HCFC-141b (30% of the product is this chemical) which as I found online if combusted in fire will decompose into Phosgene (COCl2) – a chemical weapon used in World War 1.
So I am having serious doubts regarding it now - If anyone had any experience with it I'd appreciate it.

Thanks.

Do not waste your money - it is not worth the label it is on the bottle. Two years ago I had this coating applied on my windows and it simply does not work. They got me on their "demo" bottle - and I bought the story.
Not even a month later lotus effect was gone and windows looked like there was nothing applied to it. When I called them to complain they came and said that "protection" is still there but I just do not see it !!!
I do not know what they use to make it - is it safe or not - but I know that it does not work as advertised.

Thanks for your advice.
I've called some of the companies from their reference list and they are not satisfied neither with Ritec's Clearshield not with the way company treats companits.
It pretty much sums into the same explanation given to all: "coating is still there but you don't see it". Few hotels could not even recall they ever heard of this product or company? So I am now confident that it is some fraud in question. I am surprised that you did not took any legal action against the company?
