How long have you stayed there for?

A Australian friend of mine, having lived in Indonesia for ten years and not enjoying it any more, came to Vietnam to visit for a week or two. He loved it and is still here almost ten years later.

Yeah well we would love to live here for a long time to. But we need to find jobs in the teaching centres or at a school to be able to do that. Glad your friend is enjoying the country as much as we are. If you know of any jobs or hear of any in teaching please contact me. Greatly appreciated.

They are generally very nice people Nick and you shouldn't have too much trouble finding teaching work. My advice: Enjoy . Take your time . Get to know your local area and people a little . Read around this  ( very good ) website and others for jobs. Best of luck.

Thank u Jon.  Yeah man we been going out every evening eating at a few local spots getting to know what the guys and the town a little. Gps doesn't help me much in this place. I have to work with what I recognised.  Gps has gotten me lost twice today and both times only when I switched it off I found my way on the bike.

What teaching experience/qualifications do you have ?

Cool. Glad that you're enjoying it :)

Happy. My fiancé and I have both grown up in South Africa and both have TEFL qualifications. What have you got in mind?

If you have TEFL certificates  Nick, there should be no problem at all. Check the small ads, and even better, get together a list of your local language schools and a stack of printed CVs  and certificates and go round and personally hand them in to the recruitment office or secretary.

Sorry jon but there are a hell of a lot easier ways of getting work than that
