pascou SH

Hello
I am Pascou and I currently live in Shanghai and I would like to introduce myself before moving to Australia-
I will be moving in less than 4 months to Melbourne-
So I will need to ask loads of questions-
I am familiar with expatriation as I am french living in China for the moment - but as for visa - flat- job etc - i will be asking a lot
thank you
Pascou

pascou SH

yo welcome me in 4 months hahh

stumpy

@pascou SH

Before moving you have to have a visa. For visas
You need a visa before heading over here. If you are young enough you may qualify for a working holiday visa.

For jobs Ìý
Becoming harder to get work unless you are a specialist. Unemployment rising so locals get preference. It is expensive for companies to employ expats and the process is time consuming.

For cost of living and rents etc
Australia is an expensive country to live in, especially in the major cities.

M_Abdelaal_Tassi

hi folks,
I am planning to move to Aussi in few month,
still, no final decision for the place of landing: Hate large cities: Sidney, Melbourne,...
I wish to land either in Adelaide or Hobart
any help?

stumpy

Are you coming to live, look for work or what.

I suggest that you check the links I gave in my previous post.

Adelaide and Hobart are capital cities and are expensive too.

Applied for contributory parent visa 18 months ago, initially for two years but hoping to apply for Permanant residency to enable me to spend time with my son in Brisbane. Would be grateful for any advice or help on all aspects of migrating from anyone who has five minutes to spare.
