Actual rate of Tax on salary

Hi all,

This is Shaheen all the way from India. I got a job offer with a PNG corp as Management consultant . I will be going to stay in Buka. Mostly will be arriving in April.聽 May i know what's the actual rate of tax on salary?聽 As mine is a PNG corporation is there any difference in tax?聽 Replies will be greatly appreciated.聽 Thank you all.

My gross salary would be around 6500pgk per month . So how much will be the tax??

Kina 2085 tax. Take home pay kina 5415.

Are the company paying for accommodation, food, power, phone, medical insurance cover, transport.

Annual airfares home ?

Unless they are covering the above then the salary is too聽 low. Amounts to US$1700 or Indian Rupee 118,957

Yes they do provide food, accomodation,聽 airfare, medical and car. So what do you think now?

It wont even come 5415 if it is 35% of 6500.. it will come around only 4450...
(6500脳35/100)=2275
So 6500-2275= 4225.

Hi Shaheen,

Thats a good pay. Being an Indian, we know our market and Home country. For foreigners (US, Aussie, UK) this wont be a good pay bcoz their economy is different. For Indians, this is a good maony.
