I can't say I've ever done any online grocery shopping yet while in Sweden. I'm planning on trying it next week as we are planning a party.

You could try this:


Choose Blommigram and then you see many options. Best if you can fins some kind of translation tool, because this site is totally in Swedish. They sent flowers to whole Sweden, because this is a chain kind of brand that works both online as well as in a traditional way - small florists in shopping centers.

Well first of all, Sweden was one of the pioneer countries in mail-order and was quick for many markets to go online and online ordering.
You can pretty much buy anything from shoes, clothes, jewelry, wigs, make-up, cars, firewood, oil for house heating and online pizza will deliver the pizza to your door and if they are 10min late you get it for free.
However - Online supermarkets is kind of not very popular as of yet. There are some in the bigger cities and although Lund is not a "big" city it is a popular hole for students and uni-life so there may be such a online supermarket there.

There is a nationwide chain called "Linas Matkasse" which provides you with online ordering but you cant really order every single thing you want. Linas Matkasse means something like "Linas Food Bag". What it is that you have to order one of their bags for a set cost and it will provide you with the ingridients for lets say a week to make certain dishes and they provide the how-to instructions as well.
It is however much cheaper to buy the stuff yourself.
Oh, I did check their website and Lund is on the list of places they deliver. Oh, another thing, the website is in Swedish only so you better start practicing the language or youll get hungry. LOL

Another thing you could do is to call the supermarket for home delivery. You tell them what you want and where to deliver and they will pick the things for you and deliver but they probably expect you to be a immobilized lady in your 80+.

Here in Sweden a lot of people stay home after work. The most social even in the week days is however to go supermarket shopping so I guess it is why "online supermarkets" is not so popular.

Sure, most Swedes speak splendid English, do not worry! If you need a couple of tips on shopping online, I can give you some. I am online shopping freak and love buying stuff from UK, Italy or France when I need something that is not marketed in SE.
