Work permit for Hepatitis B in Maldives

jessie233

Hello everyone,
I am new to this forum. I am planning to work in hospitality industry in Maldives. I am planning to apply for a receptionist position if possible. However, I am a chronic hepatitis B  but in stable stage, non-transmit to other people. I have medical certificate to prove that my hep B is not infectious. The position that I want to apply does not relate to food-handling. Therefore, I want to ask is it possible for me to work in Maldives? Or will I be deported if my medical is unfit? Since I know in country such as UAE they will deport and put ban on people with hep B so I'm wondering if Maldives is same.
Thank you very much for your help

Hi Jessie,

Unfortunately, you will be deported. The company can not do more on Government's ruling.
