well not an event info .. a question rather.. we have such a wide range of nationalities here, and there any many functions that are being conducted in the DQ, like on a regular basis.

There is a separate post on it as well but just as a reminder I am posting the details here again.

We are planning a get together at UBC Bowling Center Wednesday i.e. 20th April, 2011 at 8pm. 

If you haven't been there, just to let you know that it is one of the biggest bowling center in Riyadh and has a huge family section as well. So the invitation is for both parties.

Probably we can arrange a mini-tournament as well if needed. We are currently good number of singles and families confirmed.

I think it will be a good exercise, and if interested can have dinner together as well. I can get an exclusive space and good discount if we gather good crowd.


Time: 8 p.m. sharp

Location: It's located on Maather Street, basically if you are coming from Faisaliah, travelling South from King Fahad Road, you take a right (West) from Intercontinental Hotel and travel straight on Maather St. till the end of the world (3 Km). Just before the end you will find it on your left hand side. It's a huge center and pretty hard to miss.  Â… amp;v=wall


Note: All single ladies will get free of charge transport, bowling & dinner + they will get exclusive gifts.

Program is on until 9:00 pm tonight (Apr 21) and also tomorrow Friday Apr 22 after 4 pm

Thanks dude, I had been there today and it was truly refreshing for me, what a nice multicultural gathering......simply wow!

Saudi government is doing its level best for upraising the education level of their youth....literally the youth needs to realize the impressive efforts made by Saudi government and should strive to meet expectations.

Sohail,its basically the VIP(SR100) and regular(SR70) and just to get some color u have mentioned the Gold and silver:).The front tables would be VIP and and rest is regular,though the distance is not much....for Vips we would designate waiters to serve them dinner and regulars like me would get their selves to Buffet area to get their food.

For funland theme park ..have you tried fantasy land in Thummamah..

Option 1: Visit the gallery of ceramic artist Awatif AlKenebit followed by a visit to one of the art exhibitions as detailed above.
Awatif is an award winning Saudi artist and a fascinating lady. She will give you a private tour of her gallery and will talk about her work. Refreshments will be served before Haya Tours drives the group to the chosen exhibition.

Option 2: Visit the Women in Art exhibition and tour of the museum with Salwa, founder of Haya Tours, who is a Saudi lady passionate about her country. Salwa can take you round the museum and talk about some of the history and her experiences of life in Saudi. She is by no means an archaelogy or historical expert but will certainly add a personal touch to the tour.
