Hello everyone,

The way customer services are handled can greatly affect your views on certain brands, products, companies or stores. As a consumer, it is important to get familiar with local practices regarding client assistance in Ghana and try to understand how things work in the country.

How would you describe your customer service experiences in Ghana?

Do you feel welcome when you enter a store? Do you get useful tips and advice?

Are after-sales services available in Ghana?

Thanks for sharing your experience,

Priscilla

Though it has improved in the recent years, Customer services has virtually been non-existent pegging with International Standards.
It almost feels that you have to beg for services that you will end up paying for anyway.
Understanding that a satisfied customer will come back and tell others is a great virtue.

I agree that there is very little customer service in Ghana. Most store assistants consider customers an inconvenience and treat people as such. Often though they are paid a pittance which is not an excuse but often they are not treated that well by employers.
There is a group on Facebook called Ghana International Expats and complaints on there often have a very positive effect in bringing about positive resolution.
