Hi!
My name is Claire and I have been living in Quetzaltenango (Xela) for the last 2 years 1/2. I came to learn Spanish and I falled in love with the country and the people.
Xela is a great place to live with a good mix of foreigners and guatemalan.
Finding a place to stay is easy if you like sharing a house. As far as job is concerned you can teach your language in schools, work in a bar or restaurant, or volunteer.
If you need information on Xela or Guatemala, don't hesitate!

Claire
