Is 165,000 AED per year enough for one person to live?

Hi all, I've been offered a job in Abu Dhabi and they've offered me 165,000 per year plus healthcare. But that's it, would that be enough for one person to live a decent lifestyle? And what would be the difference if it were to support 2 people?

So basically we are talking about 13,750 AED per month. Is accommodation excluded? If yes then that is good enough for one person.

Thanks for your reply! Yes, I get 13,500 per month but accommodation has to come out of that as I have no accommodation allowance. Are you saying that this won't be enough once I pay for housing?

Depends on how much you are payng plus utilities bills..etc

my 2 cents..it all depends on your lifestyle.
You can rent a studio apartment from 4-6K/month (from聽 Apartment to service apartments)....close to 35-40% of your sal would be on renting.
