Salary in Sohar

Hi,
I accepted a job offer in Sohar...Salary 1550 OR..Housing and utilities paid by employer. Is this enough to live comfortably (a family of four...wife, a 4 year old and a 2 year old) and save? What's the cost of living like in Sohar? My wifes a primary school teacher, any chance of her finding a teaching job in Sohar?
