Does medical test required for new born for resident visa?

I went to a few posts and few articles on web and came to know that to apply resident visa for my new born i would required the following :

copy of passports (parents)
copy of resident cards
rent agreement
attested marriage certificate
copy showing visa stamp in passport (to prove visa validity)
attested birth certificate
company documents
salary certificate

but i am confused about medical certificate, does my new born require a medical test 'fit' certificate? does he is required to visit the lab? as the lab might increase chances of any kind of infection to the new born given my son is only 22 days old right now.

Obviously, your baby must be delivered in Oman. In that case, the hospital supporting staff will explain you in detail the procedure to get Indian Passport of your baby. Your employer will get Visa stamping job.

thanks for the answer and sorry or creating a confusion.. my baby was not born iin oman, he was born at India.

Ohh.... really!
FYI No medical tests are needed for children..... up to 5 years if I'm not mistaken. Definitely no tests in case of newborns.

Thanks a lot for the information. That helped a lot and relieved my tension a bit to take my son to those cramped labs with high chances of infections.
