Can someone get a job in bahrain while on a re-entry visa to KSA?

Hello everyone!

I am a physiotherapist based in Riyadh, and would like to visit a friend in Bahrain, and at the same time, look for work there.

I will be leaving Riyadh on an exit/re-entry visa. My question is, can I stay there and not return to Riyadh once I found an employer. Will my employer in Bahrain be able to process an employment visa for me, knowing that I left Saudi Arabia not on a final exit visa?

The reason why I'm considering this is because I was offered a job in Riyadh as a physiotherapist but was tricked by my agency in Manila, as my employer here is not a medical facility. I'm working here as a medical representative in hospitals, and salesman at our shop, and I want to avoid the hassle of filing a case at the Ministry of Interior or Labor against my employer. I just want to leave, move on in Bahrain, and start over. I just finished one year at my present job.

Anyone who knows if this is possible? Filing a complaint against my employer or to finish my contract is no longer an option for me, so please give me other options.

I am grateful for any feedback.

Hi,

Sorry to hear about your unfortunate situation .. but i doubt you can take up employment with the visa issued at causeway.

You need to exit the country the legal way else your current employer could blacklist you and there were rumors that a system could be put in place where in GCC countries would share the blacklist,

So kindly take your decision wisely to avoid any unforeseen situation in the future.

the only way to be sure to solve your sadly very common situation is to complete your contract get a final exit visa and leave Saudi Arabia. At that point, you will be able to look for legitimate jobs elsewhere in the GCC.

If you come to Bahrain on a multi-entry and do not return to Saudi and it expires, you will not be allowed back for at least three years and, even then, you may not be able to find employment there in the future.

You may also find yourself unable to find a job in Bahrain as logical mentions above. It wouldn't surprise me if leaving Bahrain might be a problem too, although I have no information or evidence that it would.
