Business Visa for Pakistani Citizens

I have to attend an exhibition in Casablanca next week and have applied already applied for the business visa at the Moroccan Consulate in Dubai. It's been 3 weeks and my PRO is visiting the embassy everyday... They keep telling him that they are waiting for the approval from the security department of Morocco.. It's freaking me out... I have to attend the exhibition.. I don't understand why is it taking so long?
Does it generally take this long?

I guess all the arabs are same in doing (well not really doing) anything. Lazy as anyone cud possibly be.
