Hi. I applied for a long stay and finally I got my appointment scheduled. But they have a residential check first. My question, can i set a date of when they need to come for a residential check?

Normally you cannot set a date, because that is a surprise visit to make sure you really live on that address. What I did before, I advised the police like I have schooling from this time to this time and only before and after my schooling I am available everyday. So not really setting a date, but advising them prior for your possible appointment could help.

First residential check when we applied for marriage took 3 weeks. Second residential check for my migration took 5 days and it was Sunday morning when he came.
