Dear All,

We are a lebanese couple living in Hilversum - The Netherlands with valid resident permits as I am working for a company here.

We are expecting to have a baby end of August 2011. I would like to know whether the baby will get the dutch nationality directly as he is born in The Netherlands.

Hi there,

Your best bet is to call your local Gemeente as well as IND (Immigration Office) as one or both should be able to answer your question.
