Hello
The better places to stay is in the North and South of Athens.

North:
Kifisia,Vrilisia,Ekali,Politia,Agios Stefanos etc

South:Glyfada,Bouliagmeni,Varkiza,

But the houses are more expensives.

In addition some cities west of Athens as Peristeri,Haidari are very good.

hi,
I will be moving to Athens with my husband and two children too.
What region are the International /English language schools in? What areas do the expat families live and how far away is this from the centre of the city?

Many thanks!
Sandra

Hi Sandra

I have lived here for almost 8 months and still have a lot to learn.

I have a wife and 2 kids who at the moment are based in Denmark.

Depending on your origin and economy there are 3 schools you should check out.

See below and I also added a link for acommodation.

If I can be of further assistance pls let me know.

Regards

Brian

St. Catherines's British School (Kifissia)

Campion School British School (Pallini)

ACS Amerivan community school (Agia Paraskevi)

For accommodation pls check.

Hello, I am greek and use to live in Athens. I lived in Argiroupoli and feel it was a great location and safe. All the shops are walking distance, everything is footsteps away shops, banks, town hall, metro, buses..Are you planning on living there for a while or just to visit? (Moderated: no free ads here please )

I am moving to Athens soon with my family and I see the schools and links you posted.  What about the International School of Athens, any insight?

The 3 schools I am interested are:

ACS
St Catherine's
and ISA

Any information appreciated, I am trying to find online the distances from the schools from one another but having a hard time finding that info.

Regards,

Gina
