Recommendations for hotel in Santo Doimgo

My friend and I are visiting to the DR in February 2018.聽 We will be flying in and out of聽 Santo Domingo and will need a hotel for one night when we arrive and again the night before we leave.聽 I am looking for recommendations for hotels if anyone has one.聽 We will be there for two weeks and are staying in Las Terrenas.

How are you traveling from SD to LT?聽 Do you really need a hotel?

Sorry I can't help with a one night hotel. I am on the north coast.聽 Are聽 you looking to stay near the airport? Do you plan on sight seeing at all

You will like the main street Calle Conde .Its the historic area with alot of " colonial" charm. Casa Conde Hotel is a great one that I usually stay. Go on Expedia and lookat the reviews.聽

If its for one day/ night this is the area with all the stuff. Bars restaurants a couple sites. To me visiting聽 from NY ..聽 La Zona Colonial ( as its locally known) has a bohemian , almost old world vibe.
