Post new topic

Are you living in Denmark? We need you to share your experience of the local customs :)

Is it difficult to adjust to the local customs in Denmark?

Could you please share with us a list of the do's and don't's in Denmark?

Thanks!

Moeller

Do: Learn Danish
Don't: Litter

Been away long, have you? ;-)

Copenhagen is rife with litter, and now with the ineffectual smoking ban in place, the sidewalks are practically heaving with disgusting cigarette butts! Sad to say, littering no longer seems a don't here.

Danes are a pretty 'clicky' nation. I've been here for 2 years, speak Danish fluently, and still feel like an outsider...I'm not sure I'll ever adjust to living here... sad but true..

hahaha dont worry about such small things - you should visit India, then you will not complain about traffic and such things.

It gives a nice warm feeling , or atmosphere - India, Thailand, Sri Lanka etc
