I can't believe how difficult it is to find information about what you are asking; which makes me think that it is in fact not possible (i.e. host country restrictions on moving capital out of the country), or at least not in sums large enough to attract the big money institutions. The only things I can find are horror stories from people like yourself who have money stuck in Morocco. The UK Government website advises that "The Moroccan Dirham (MAD) is non-convertible. You can import or export up to a maximum of 2,000 MAD to or from Morocco."
My advice is to start with your in-country lawyer and your own bank in the UK; perhaps they have a branch in Morocco that can advise you.
