NZ driver license
Hello expats. I dunno if any of you have encountered a familiar fate before coming into this new country. But, do you know if a foreigner can register for a driver license? And I don't mean the converting process but the actual registration. I don't have permission of any kind from overseas authority. I don't know if that's needed. *shrug*
I don't have my home country driver license because I never had one in the first place. The closest is my driving permit, something that gives you permission to be taught how to drive in the US...So, I guess that's a problem.

I am NZ born, have dual citizenship / passports with Australia but am based in Laos with my family there. Have every class of license here in NZ except motorcycle.
