Thanks.  I went through it.  They give the address and contact of the organization who is the authorized distributor.  Typically no one picks the phone or gives complete information.

I ordered one online from Amazon and will try it out with the erevealer software from CIO once it arrived.

Yeah ordered it from amazon. Cost me 12 USD. Then downloaded erevealer software from link on CIO site. And been reading smart cards smoothly ever since.

I am not sure about the version but I downloaded the software from CIO website. I have Windows 10 and it works fine with my smart card reader.

CIO website is no more available brother. It is merged with iGA website and the software is not available. Can you please check the version that you are having? It shows on top of the software window when it opens.

I am travelling.  Will check when back home on the weekend.

Someone provided me the software. There is no online link available.

Update: The software is now available on the bahrain.bh site under identity card services.

I have got a card reader and it works fine I really get the cards reader info but I am wondering if it's possible to import the data to my Adobe Acrobat fillable forms?
I searched the internet until now I didn't get anything that could help.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

What are you looking to do?

I print the card reader data directly to PDF.   You can then open the file in Acrobat Pro and add any and all fields as you want.   But I am not getting the point of why would you want to add fields to a data print which is already filled out?

My aim is that I would like to import the card data to our database directly from the data form entry.

To achieve this I should like to obtain the .xml data file of the last swept card.

So no need to reenter the smart card data, which will gain data integrity and eliminate human errors too.

For that, most big companies use their own software - costs more than normal people can afford.  What you can do is to print off the CPR cards in PDF and then use a free converter for PDF to *.xml.   Not automatic I know.  The only other option is to find out what software companies use e.g. UAE exchange and get that.
