Hi there,

Which are your 10 favorite places to go out in Fukuoka?

Which places would you recommend to newcomers? (restaurants, pubs, discos, theaters, cinemas, concert halls...)

Thanks!

Welcome on Expat-blog Aleksandre! :) How long are you in Fukuoka? Did you have the opportunity to go out in?

All the best,
Christine

I'm new to Fukuoka, but Tenjin and the Daimyo neighborhoods are great for food and shopping. Out of the city, Dazaifu is a really nice day trip for weekends - the shrine is gorgeous, and the history museum is a really nice building.

It depends on what you are looking for. If you want a straight-up tourist's view of the city, take a Green Bus loop out of Hakata bus terminal for 700 yen. You can get off wherever you like, explore, and then get back on to move to the next stop for no additional charge.
