Hello dear members,

Can you recommend some financial institutions i.e. Commercial Banks in Cameroon?

What about their facilities they offer? For example: [Internet Banking, Credit Facilities, ATM's machine availability throughout the country]

How the mentioned institution(s) has(ve) facilitated or facilitate your life?

I have used Ecco Bank and SGBC in Cameroon, Ecco bank frequently "lost" transfers, the bank premisses were slow, understaffed, and generally conducting transactions was such a nightmare that I ended up just keeping cash in the house. Also the ATM machines are invariably broken Since moving to SGBC I have been very happy with the service, which has in many cases been better than many European banks. the extremity with Eccobank I wanted to pay some one by Cheque, but I had to be present with him in order to counter sign the cheque!! in other words it was just like drawing the cash and handing it to him.... SGBC though have good internet banking and the ATM cards work internationally
