Shopping in Romania

Post new topic

Yud

Hello dear members,

I guess this could be an interesting topic. I invite all members in  Romania (both locals & expats) to share their daily/weekly/monthly experience about shopping. You may also include some shopping tips/suggestions!

So can you please share with us:

>Where do you usually go for shopping?
(Shopping for basic products like Food, Vegetables, Meat)

>What are your favorite shopping malls/complex or boutique?
(Where you usually go to relax or to buy your clothing stuffs, shoes and other shopping related products!)

Awaiting for your contribution ;)

Best Regards

Depends where you live ,in Bucharest loads of malls and so on ,Banease is OK with most big names Carrefour,John Lewis,Next and all the rest,Uniri Mall also good and they got M&S,for everyday shopping I strongly suggest you use local shops where ever you live loads of small markets for fresh fruit vegetables and very cheap ,likewise plenty of local butchers, bakers and so forth ,lots of 24 hour (Non Stops) in the cities as well,in Bucharest for a shopping experience spend a day at the OBOR market complex,if its not for sale there ,its not for sale anywhere and its fun.

Hi!

Like the previous post said, it really depends where you live and whether or not you have a car, but there's plenty of hypermarkets in the city, as well as smaller supermarkets that are bound to be around the corner from your house (they tend to be more expensive though). For fruit and veg local markets are usually better, especially in season.
