Driest, least humid climate

Post new topic

SusanKosola

Hello, I am a Canadian looking for the driest, least humid area of France to move to later this year. I have only visited in late spring, early summer and as much as I love Provence, the weather then was very hot.  I can cope with heat though, I’m trying to avoid rain, high humidity and snow. I prefer village life to big city. Open to suggestions. My extensive google searches have not really helped.

I moved to one of Canada’s deserts in the south Okanagan of British Columbia. The summers here are very hot and I was expecting a short mild winter. Compared to the rest of Canada, it is mild, but having spent two winters here, still too much winter for me. I left the warmer coastal weather of Vancouver because it rains too much. Have wintered in the southern states and Caribbean, but have been in love with France for over 20 years and want to make it my forever home. Aging and some arthritis are making climate my highest priority.
