Planning to move to the Algarve in September

Hello everyone!

We are planning to move to the algarve by September this year.
My parents moved to vilamoura last year and we are planning to make the move to, we being me the wife and 2 kids (5 and 2)

I wanted to know which areas are recomended maybe within 45 mins of vilamoura in terms of schooling and a good ex pat community. I am coming out again next month to take a look at some place but would love to hear anyone鈥檚 recommendations.

How did eveyone fine placing there kids in school when they moved out? Anything I should be aware of?

Really appreciate any advice.
