Looking for a job in Malaysia

Post new topic

GuestPoster9852

Hello! Im Tiffany I'm 21.
I've just joined here and I'm glad I found this. I'm really eager to live and work in Malaysia and I've been trying to get something for the past 1 and a half year. I'm a student who's going to graduate next month (May) and after that I want to work and live there.
Can anyone help me? Or suggest where I can find jobs? Customer service, hospitality or airline jobs. Or anything would do honestly. Thank you so much!

Gravitas

You would need to get some work experience before you can be recruited in Malaysia.

GuestPoster9852

In what field should I get experience? And after I do how should I apply for a job?

Gravitas

Depends what subject your degree is and in what field you want to specialise. The best area for finding work in Malaysia is as a software programmer. Languages are a possible way to find work. Call centres want at least one years' experience. Hospitality (hotels) and airline jobs are not really easy to find. Working in bars or restaurants is more easily done.

Okay! Thank you so much

Gravitas

This college has an Internship Programme

It's seems to actually be hiring foreign workers for local F&B outlets and some hotels.

Worth enquiring but the pay is almost non-existant

I really appreciate it, Thank you!

Gravitas

DMS looks as if it could be a fake company

DMSHolidays

Gravitas

It is an insult to me that you have claim that we are fakes
I have this company - DMS Asia Dynamics since 2010
I am 64 years old and hold a Doctorate degree
I am not an expat but a pedigree Malaysian who sincerely wants to help
Please verify before you say that

Thank you

Gravitas

What about DMS Holidays?

Gravitas

Facebook set up in last couple of weeks and website that does not work........

DMSHolidays

DMS Holidays is a new venture of DMS Asia Dynamics
The website is still under construction,
My friend, it is not nice of you to say that without verifying
I have seen your comments on ½ûÂþÌìÌÃ
Are you telling me you are an expert on Malaysia Expats issues
Some of your comments are not recommended as it is basically not facts
Just your personal opinion. Sorry to be a little personal here
Its not the point
Anyway, its your opinion which I would respect but not agree
I do not have to do this.
Its people like you that makes people (like me) to mind my own business
and not to offer any help. I want to thank you for enlightening me this subject

suben_sappi

Forget the fighting, please help each other.

Gravitas

Suben_sappi - the issue is that there are job scams and immigration scams going on at forums such as ½ûÂþÌìÌÃ

DMS doesn't really exist - which has been confirmed.

southwest-intl

I've 7 years of experience in banking and customer service sector & currently staying in Malaysia in order to find a job. It's been almost a month now & still no luck with any calls or emails, however I'm still applying for jobs on my own here.
My area of expertise is not limited to Customer service and banking sector, I'd love to learn more and explore new challenging roles. Please tell me how can I find a job soon in Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur.
