Hi and welcome

Is there a possibility to renew it? You must do that before it expires. Don't overstay illegally as you will be fined and or the possibility of your passport being stamped that could cause you problems in obtaining future visas. not just for Spain, but any other country.

Johncar

Priya,    do you really mean an NIE (numero de identificación ) ?

priyapillay

How do I extend?

priyapillay

Yes

Johncar

An NIE paper certificate is a numero de identificación de Extranjeros.   Once issued it lasts forever

However  a permiso de residencia (also called Tarjeta de Identidad de Extranjero or TIE) is a  plasticed card, which  confirm a non EU Citizens right to stay in spain for a limited period.  Often referred to as a residencia card.  The number on that card is ones NIE

Thus one’ s NIE certificate never expire so never needs to be renewed.  That applies equally to EU and Non EU Citizens

Priya.   I am almost certain you used the wrong ‘word’ in your your question ( quote:   I  have a NIE card and it expires in June).  So no one can be  exactly certain what you need to know

priyapillay

Yes it expires in June month end. And I need to stay an extra 60 days
