Ifunaya

My name is ifunaya from Nigeria and i live in Germany. I want to know if I can do nurse  Ausbildung here And if yes how  will I go about it?.haven't work as a nurse before now.

It's good that you asked. I don't live in Germany but i have heard the word before. If you can speak German and have passed B2 German exam, then i'd encourage you to go online and find out universities that offer nursing programs and read about the entry requirements. I am a nurse and Nigerian. Conduct an in-depth google search and you'll definitely find answers. Good luck.

Hey Ifunaya, if you would like to do an Ausbildung in Germany, you have 2 options.
Option 1: YOu look for a Berufschule in your area where you can do the Ausbildung as a nurse and apply for that.
Option 2: YOu look for vacancies in hospitals in your area who are looking to recruit people to beinga nurse. Assuch, they will pay you some small amount of money every month and will also pay for the school and Examination. If you like you could even do a Praktikum/Internship and see if this job is what you really want to do.
The easiest thing to actually do is if you justgo to the Arbeitsamt in your area and ask them to hep you in finding a school.
I hope this washelpful enough :)

Thank you salimani , I will do just as you said. But the problem is that i don't have good knowledge of Deutsche and i don't know if I can push forward without that.

I have a friend (from Ethiopia) who also wanted to attend nursing school despite not (yet) having the required B2 German level.
Since there is a big shortage of nurses in German hospitals, they eventually (after a lot of discussions and interviews) admitted her under the condition that she would get the language certificate within the first six months of being enrolled - otherwise she would be expelled.
She worked hard during those months (hardly any sleep!) and is now a full-fledged nurse.
But she was married to a German (thus didn't need a visa - no idea if one can be had in such a situation) and financially independent (it is NOT possible to earn your living expenses under such circumstances!).

Please I want to know how long it will take for me to learn pharmacy assistant.? And will they accept me without German language knowledge?

beppi

Pharmacy assistants are called "Pharmazeutisch Technische/r Assistent/in" or "PTA" in short. They ar trained in specialist schools ("Berufsfachschule") for two years, followed by a six months internship.
Your German must be good enough to follow classes and pass written tests in the language. Thus you should learn German first.
Also, unlike other apprenticeships (where you get a small stipend that may not cover your living expenses), PTA students actually incur school fees.
